Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming family drama Varisu which was titled Vaarasudu in Telugu is currently in the making. The shoot of the film is progressing at a brisk pace and on schedule. The plans are on to release the film for Sankranthi 2023. While there are more than 4 months left, Dil Raju, the producer of the flick is busy closing the non-theatrical deals.
The latest news is that Dil Raju has finalized the OTT deal for the project. It is said that Dil Raju made a deal with Amazon Prime Video for the OTT streaming rights for both Telugu and Tamil versions. The amount which is not disclosed is said to be a mind-boggling amount.
Vijay enjoys a superb fanbase across South India. Vamshi Paidipally is the director of the movie. Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead in this project. SS Thaman is composing music for the film.
