Bollywood top hero Ranbir Kapoor’s long-delayed big-budget project Shamshera has finally sealed its release date. Renowned production house Yash Raj Films is producing this project and it was made on a huge budget. The film will be released on 22nd July 2022.
While Sanjay Dutt is playing the main antagonist in the film, Vaani Kapoor will be seen as the female lead. Along with the film’s release date announcement, the film’s teaser is released as well. In the video, Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor talk about freedom, its importance, and Shamshera. It goes with the caption, “Karam Se Dacait… Dharam Se Azaad.”
The official announcement says, “A legend will rise on 22nd July. Celebrate #Shamshera with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.” Karan Malhotra has directed the movie and Aditya Chopra is the producer. It was 4 years since Ranbir Kapoor entertained the audiences. His last film Sanju released in 2018.
