Kangana Ranaut is interested in real-life dramas. She played the lead roles in the biopics Manikarnika and Thalaivi. Now, Kangana Ranaut is back with another real-life drama. She is portraying the role of Indira Gandhi in the movie Emergency. The movie’s first look has been unveiled a while ago and it is safe to say that Kangana Ranaut is perfectly fitted as Indira Gandhi. The looks are quite striking.
Going by the title, we can assume that the story revolves around the emergency period in India that was imposed during Indira Gandhi’s tenure. Apart from playing the lead role, Kangana Ranaut is directing the project. She has even provided the story and is even producing it on Manikarnika Films.
It is her second directorial venture. Ritesh Shah is providing the screenplay and dialogues. GV Prakash Kumar is the music composer of the movie. More details will be revealed later.
