Chiyaan Vikram is playing the most raw and rustic character in his career in the movie Thangalaan. The film’s teaser was released a while back. Vikram was presented in a never-before avatar. The whole setup of the movie is completely raw. He was seen ripping a snake apart in the teaser which shows how raw the director handled the subject. Vikram plays Thangalaan, the titular role, of Son of Gold.
Malavika Mohanan is the leading lady of the film. GV Prakash Kumar has scored the music and it stands as one of the major highlights of the teaser. Thangalaan is said to be inspired by the real incidents that happened during the British regime in the Kolar Gold Fields.
Studio Green and Neelam Productions are combinedly to produce this venture. Thangalaan will be released on January 26, 2024. PA Ranjith has helmed this movie. It will have a Pan-Indian release.
