Yesterday night, while speaking at the 53rd International Film Festival of India in Goa, the jury head Nadav Lapid, an Israeli Filmmaker slammed this year’s blockbuster hit The Kashmir Files. He said that it was disturbing to watch the film and stated it was propaganda.
This created a major row as the supporters and critics of the movie have been sharing their opinions on the film once again. Directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, The Kashmir Files was one of the major hits for Bollywood this year. It made a fortune at the box office. Anupam Kher played the lead role in the movie.
Speaking about the IFFI head’s reaction, Anupam Kher stated that the criticism is pre-planned. Vivek Agnihotri on the other hand posted a cryptic message. He posted on Twitter, “GM. Truth is the most dangerous thing. It can make people lie. #CreativeConsciousness”
