Aditya Dhar and Vicky Kaushal worked together for the blockbuster URI: The Surgical Strike. Ronnie Screwvala is the producer for the project. Now, the URI combo is set to repeat again. Immortal Aswatthama is a trilogy announced long back and there are reports that the project has been shelved.
Vicky Kaushal has clarified that the project is very much on and will kickstart next year. It is a three-part project set in modern times. Sara Ali Khan is initially roped in as the female lead of this project but now according to the latest buzz, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has replaced her.
Samantha is going great in Bollywood. Her web series The Family 2 has brought huge recognition to her. She is making her debut in Bollywood with Ayyushman Khurrana film. She will also be seen in Citadel alongside Varun Dhawan. She is also playing the female lead in Taapsee Pannu’s production. Samantha apart from Immortal Aswatthama is in talks for Akshay Kumar – Karan Johar’s project.
