The postponements and release date announcements continue. Prabhas starrer Adi Purush has been initially locked for the August 11th release but the date has been taken over. Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha will take the date. It is very well known that Aamir Khan has played the lead role in Laal Singh Chaddha an official adaptation of Forrest Gump.
The official announcement reads, “This is to announce that our film, Laal Singh Chaddha, will not be releasing on 14th April as planned. This is because we are unable to complete the film in time. The film will be released on 11th Aug 2022 in theaters worldwide. We would like to thank Mr. Bhushan Kumar, T Series, Om Raut, and the entire team of Adi Purush from the bottom of our hearts.”
So, it is evident that the postponement was announced after consulting the Adi Purush team. Tollywood actor Naga Chaitanya has played a lengthy cameo in Laal Singh Chaddha which was directed by Advait Chandan and has Kareena Kapoor in the lead role as well.
