Popular filmmaker Karan Johar will be honored at UK Parliament for his services to the entertainment industry on June 20th. The event will take place at the Palace of Westminster where both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, the two houses of the UK Parliament will be met.
Karan Johar has a special relationship with the United Kingdom where he has shot many of his blockbuster films. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil are some of them. In the year 2012, Karan Johar was appointed the Goodwill Ambassador for a special campaign to attract and invite people to the country as visitors.
Karan Johar heads Dharma Productions which is one of the top production houses in Bollywood. 2023 also marks the 25th year of Karan Johar’s working in the entertainment industry. His next release will be Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
