With the rise in COVID cases, there are no notable releases this weekend. So, OTT has become the one-stop entertainment once again. This week for the Telugu audiences there are going to be three releases on different OTT platforms. Shyam Singha Roy and Akhanda have been superb successes at the box office. They are coming before the audiences once again, this time on the OTT platforms.
Natural Star Nani, Sai Pallavi, Kriithi Shetty has starred in Shyam Singha Roy which is a commercial entertainer. Rahul Sankrityan has directed this movie which has the Bengali backdrop. The main story revolves around the Devadasi system. Nani and Sai Pallavi’s chemistry is the major stand out in this movie. Shyam Singha Roy has already been streaming on Netflix from midnight.
Nandamuri Balakrishna – Boyapati Srinu’s mass jaathara Akhanda has been a tremendous hit. The movie has already been Balayya’s highest grosser. It has even completed 50 days run at the box office which is a rarity these days. Akhanda will stream on Disney + Hotstar from 6 PM.
Apart from these two movies, there is a web series up for grabs as well. The loser is a successful web series starring Priyadarshi, Shashank, Annie, Kalpika, Dhanya, Sayaji Shinde, etc., It was a sports anthology flick and now the second season of this series is being streamed on Zee5.
