One of the prominent production houses in the Telugu Cinema UV Creations is now facing GST raids. On Tuesday, the production house was raided by Goods and Services Tax authorities However, UV Creations didn’t panic about the raids. They stated that they are regular raids and they didn’t evade any taxes.
UV Creations came into the production business with the film Mirchi. The production house is headed by Pramod Uppalapati, a cousin of Prabhas, and V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy who is a close friend of Rebel Star.
The GST department didn’t make any official statement regarding this and it is being said that UV Creations have been completely compliant with all the rules and regulations.
After the huge success of Baahubali, Prabhas has done two Pan-Indian projects for UV Creations which has done a business of around Rs. 300-400 Crores. The production house has so far associated with 13 films and more are in the pipeline.
