Sunrisers Hyderabad key allrounder Washington Sundar is going to miss the remaining IPL 2023. The franchise made a key announcement that the star allrounder is going to miss the tournament due to a hamstring injury.
Washington Sundar featured in all seven SRH fixtures but returned with dismal figures. After going wicketless in the first six games, Sundar picked three wickets in his last IPL match and also scored a crucial 24 yet couldn’t take his side home. Currently, SRH is placed ninth in the points table only above Delhi Capitals which the side is going to contest again on 29th at Delhi.
This is not the first time that Sundar picked a hamstring injury. He had to miss a handful of Indian matches due to it and unfortunately, he was injured once again. Now, SRH will have to find another all-rounder who would bring a balance to the side.
