International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the fixtures for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Australia, the defending champions are going to host this tournament. 22 fixtures will decide the new champions of the shortest format of the game. Seven cities have been chosen to host these games.
The tournament will start on October 16 and will end on November 13. A total of 16 nations will be fighting out for the winning trophy. 12 nations have already been confirmed and the remaining 4 needs to be sorted out by another round of fixtures. For these 4 spots, 8 teams are going to have a go.
The Super 12 round will start on the 22nd of October with the clash between the finalists of the 2021 T20 world cup. Australia and New Zealand are going to clash on this day.
