The last super 4 match ended today rather one-sided. Sri Lanka and Pakistan who are going to fight it out in the finals of the Asia Cup had a semifinal kind of match today, i.e., their last super 4 match. Pakistan batted first and was bundled out for just 121 runs. Spinners played a crucial part in the low score as Hasaranga, Theekshana, and Dhananjaya de Silva shared six wickets between them in their 12 overs and conceded only 60 runs. None of the batters were confident to play their shots except for Nawaz.

Sri Lanka in their chase was rocked early by Rauf. However, Babar Azam’s strange captaincy of introducing Hasan Ali hasn’t worked as Sri Lanka bounced back. Pathum Nissanka scored a fine fifty and the other batters played around him. As a result, Sri Lanka won the match comfortably by 5 wickets.

The final will happen on Sunday.
