Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and others have been rested for the upcoming West Indies white ball series. BCCI has named the 18-member ODI squad and Shikhar Dhawan is going to lead the side. Ravindra Jadeja has been named vice-captain of the squad.

Shikhar Dhawan last year led the Indian side thrice in the ODIs against Sri Lanka where the seniors were in England for the test series. Rishabh Pant, Rishabh Pant, and Mohammed Shami also earned a definite break from the side. KL Rahul is still recovering from the injury.
The wicket-keeping duties will be shared between Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson. Ruturaj Gaikwad is possibly going to open along with Shikhar Dhawan. The tour will start on July 22nd.
