Mumbai Indians like every season have started their campaign with a loss. RCB looked so promising the other evening. The match looked one-sided for the most of the match. Neither of the MI batsman except for Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera was good. Especially, Tilak Varma was too good. He scored 84 runs in just 46 balls and took Mumbai to a respectable total of 171. However, the total was never going to be enough especially if the two best batsmen on the side, Virat Kohli and Faf Du Plessis is in fine form.
Faf scored a brilliant 73 and Virat took the bowlers to cleaners with 82 not out. RCB chased the total in just 16.2 overs. This was a massive win for RCB. Faf Du Plessis was the man of the match.
