It’s been only a few days since the Indian Premier League 2023 started and already we have seen a few edge-of-the-seat thrillers. After Rinku Singh’s heroics, yesterday’s match between RCB and LSG is nothing but a thriller. On a batting paradise, Royal Challengers Bangalore batted first and scored a massive 212.
However, on the Chinnaswamy pitch, it is always going to be challenging with the shorter boundaries. LSG didn’t start as planned as well. The first four wickets fell cheaply. Mayers got out to a duck, and KL Rahul couldn’t accelerate. Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya weren’t effective as well.
Then came Stoinis who gave some hope to the LSG innings. Nicholas Pooran followed and blasted the chase. He scored 50 in just 15 balls and set the chase right on track. Though LSG fumbled toward the end, they finally sneaked in a bye and won it.
