Kolkata Knight Riders gave a double blow to the Royal Challengers Bangalore as the home team lost the match by a margin of 21 runs. KKR was asked to bat first and the team responded beautifully. Jason Roy in particular was lethal. Jagadeesan though slow gave good company to Jason. After the opening partnership, Nitish Rana has gone bonkers. RCB helped him by giving him two chances and he capitalized on them superbly.
After that wickets fell in clusters but Rinku Singh and David Wiese made sure, the total touched the 200 mark. Chasing a mammoth total, RCB was off to a flier. Virat Kohli and Faf scored 30 runs in just 2 overs. However, Suyash Sharma was introduced early into the attack and he removed Faf immediately.
However, Lomror and Kohli had a good partnership, but they were taken care of by Chakravarthy and Russell respectively. Since then, there is no looking back by KKR.
