David Miller has given a killer blow to the defending champions Chennai Super Kings. CSK now had only one win in the six matches played so far and the playoffs chances are looking bleak right now. Chennai Super Kings, in yesterday’s match, looked all favorites for the most part of the match after posting 169 runs and later limiting the opposition for 87 runs. However, David Miller had other plans. He had scored runs at his will and had taken the bowlers to the cleaners.
Rashid Khan ably supported him by scoring 40 in just 21 balls. They had a special liking for Chris Jordan where his final two overs have decided the fate of the match. Mukesh Choudhary, Maheesh Theekshana, and Dwayne Bravo has bowled beautifully restricting Gujarat Titans. However, the end result didn’t favor them.
Earlier, in the innings, Ruturaj Gaikwad found his form. He scored 73 runs in just 48 balls. Ambati Rayudu has supported him nicely and the finishing touches by Ravindra Jadeja took the team’s total to a par score.
