One of the most successful IPL franchises Chennai Super Kings is going to set up 4 cricket academies in Andhra Pradesh. The four academies will be set up at Kadapa, Tirupathi, Mangalagiri, and Vishakapatnam. At a review meeting held on the ‘Aadudaam Andhra’ sports festival, AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy revealed the details. He directed the officials to help CSK to set up the academies to develop cricket in the state.

In this regard, YS Jagan asked the officials to work towards establishing a world-class cricket stadium in Vishakapatnam, and once it will be ready, the present Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium should be developed as a center of excellence for Sports.

The franchise Chennai Super Kings won the IPL for the fifth time this year with their captain MS Dhoni leading from the front. It is known that CSK key player Ambati Rayudu who recently announced his retirement from the sport met YS Jagan and has shown his interest to develop a sports culture in the state.
