Gujarat Titans have won the clash of Titans. The match between GT and LSG which has shown so much promise before the start has ended up as a complete one side affair. Gujarat Titans have won the toss and elected to bat first. However, they hadn’t got the right start as Saha who has been giving good starts has failed this time. The inclusion of Matthew Wade hasn’t worked for them as well. Hardik Pandya fell early too.
However, it was Shubman Gill who held one end, and Miller and Tewatia played around. Gill batted for 63 runs in 49 balls. Avesh Khan and Mohsin Khan are the picks of the bowlers. Finally, GT has posted a moderate total of 144 runs. The total seems par on a tricky wicket. But, GT bowlers proved too hot to handle for LSG batters. Only one has crossed the 20s reflects the situation.
Mohammed Shami is brilliant in the powerplay giving only 5 runs in 3 overs and picking up a wicket. Rashid Khan registered his best figures in IPL (4/24). Finally, LSG got bundled out for just 82 runs.
