India after concluding the England series on a high, has now geared up for the limited over West Indies tour. India will play three ODIs and five T20s in this tour and the ODI leg will start today.

Seniors like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli got rested for the ODI series. Shikhar Dhawan is set to lead the side. KL Rahul stands unavailable for the selection. Ravindra Jadeja has been named vice-captain for the series but he is doubtful with a knee injury.

There are no concerns regarding the batting but the bowling is a bit inexperienced. Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj, and Shardul Thakur have only played 39 ODIs together. Ishan Kishan might partner with Shikhar Dhawan at the top. If the management wants a left-right combination then Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shubman Gill are available for the selection. Deepak Hooda, Suryakumar Yadav, and Shreyas Iyer are likely to form the middle order. Axar Patel and Thakur might be the all-rounders for the side.
