The second T20I between India and South Africa ended up rather in one way. Batting first, India has struggled to put a competitive total on a two-paced track. Ruturaj Gaikwad fell very early. Ishan Kishan has given some start to the batting. Shreyas Iyer played the anchor innings. Dinesh Karthik and Harshal Patel managed to put on a show towards the end by scoring 30 runs in the last 2 years.
Finally, India has 148 runs in the 20 overs. Chasing a modest total of 149, South Africa was limited to 29 for 3 wickets inside the powerplay. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has shown his class when he took three wickets.
However, Henrich Klaasen has scored 81 in just 46 balls. India’s spinners were taken to the cleaners. Though Bhvneshwar Kumar finished with 13/4, India lost the match by 4 wickets. With back-to-back losses, India is in a spot of bother.
