India versus England‘s 5th test which is being played at Edgbaston is taking interesting turns. The match has gone into the fifth day with a clear edge for England. India has given a stiff target of 378 runs for England to chase. England off late has become chase masters. Their aggressive approach is definitely taking them to places. England’s openers Lees and Crawley have put on 107 runs for the opening partnership.
Another two wickets followed in quick time which looked like England was in a spot of bother. However, Root and Bairstow came to their rescue and batted positively. Their unbeaten partnership made sure England are favorites to win from here. They completed their respective half-centuries and are looking for more. Bairstow was put down by Vihari of Shami’s bowling which didn’t help their cause.
India on the other hand look to take their wickets quickly and put pressure on England. However, with Stokes and Billings to follow, it’s England’s game to lose now.
