Now, it’s all confirmed. Australia finds a place in the World Test Championship final. They win the third test which was played in Indore by nine wickets. Requiring 76 runs to win the test match, Australia didn’t sweat much. Though Khawaja was removed by Ashwin in just the second ball of the innings, both Head and Labuschagne made sure nothing crazy happens.
They batted with positive intent, taking on the spin duo Ashwin and Jadeja. While Head scored 49 runs, Labuschagne made 28. With the current win, Australia reduced India’s lead to 2-1. Now, everything depends on the Ahmedabad Test which it will be played in Narendra Modi Stadium. This match will start on March 9th.
India needs to win the fourth test match to find a place in the WTC final and fixes a date with Australia yet again.
