Vishwak Sen‘s movie Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam has seen a spike in promotions with unwanted controversy. Vishwak Sen has played a middle-aged man in the movie. It has raised curiosity about the promos. Let us see how the flick is.

Story:
Arjun Kumar Allam (Vishwak Sen) is a small-time money lender in Suryapet. Being 33, Vishwak Sen is keen to get married very soon. A match with Madhavi (Ruksar Dhillon) came his way  The engagement is all set to happen. Surprisingly, the bride goes missing. Arjun is forced to stay with the bride’s family due to the lockdown.

What are the consequences of the incidents? How will the events turn up?

Performances:
Vishwak Sen has a certain image in the public. He goes completely against it in this movie. He is simple in the film which is refreshing to see. Especially the way he showcases his frustration is good on screen. Ruksar Dhillon is cute. She has performed her role with ease. Her scenes with Vishwak Sen have come out really well. The other female lead, Ritika Nayak has been decent as well. She is a surprise package.

Goparaju Ramana, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Kadambari Kiran, Kedar Shankar, and others have played the supporting roles in the movie.

Technicalities:
Technically, Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam is decent. The production values are good for this small-budget entertainer. The way the cameraman handled the limited locations is good. The editor job is fine as well. Jay Krish’s music and background music adds the necessary feel to this feel-good romantic drama. It brings a pleasant feel.

Director Vidya Sagar Chinta has done a pretty impressive job with his debut film. His writing is Okay and there are some memorable moments in the film which showcased the spark of the director.

Analysis:
Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam had a pretty good first half. If the second half is handled in a more dramatic way, the result would have been even better. Nevertheless, the movie is a decent watch for the audiences who love feel-good romantic entertainers.
