Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has today in the assembly has announced that the government is going to bear the educational expenses of the students who were evacuated from war-torn Ukraine. He has made a statement regarding this.
“We don’t know when the war will end in Ukraine and don’t even know what are the consequences. We have brought more than 740 students back to the state and all of them are medical students. They went to Ukraine because of the low expenses for education.
Here, they have to bear close to Rs. 1 Crore but in Ukraine, the medicine could be completed in Rs. 25 lakhs. Currently, the students are in confusion and fear. We make sure that all the 740 students’ education will continue. The government will bear all the expenses of their education,” he said in the assembly.
KCR has also added, “We will write to the center regarding this for permission.”
