11 migrant workers from Bihar who were sleeping on the first floor of a scrap godown, in Bhoiguda, Secunderabad were charred to death and a person has managed to escape alive after a massive fire broke out. The reason behind the fire accident is not known yet but the police officials have been thinking in the angle of the short circuit.

It is said that all the 11 bodies were charred beyond recognition in the mishap. The fire control room received a call at around 3 AM but the fire could only be stopped after nearly 4 hours.

Telangana Chief Minister KCR and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have announced Rs. 5 lakhs and Rs. 2 lakhs ex-gratia to the deceased families.

PMO India has tweeted, “Pained by the loss of lives due to a tragic fire in Bhoiguda, Hyderabad. My thoughts are with the bereaved families in this hour of grief. An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of the deceased.”
