Telugu Desam Party General Secretary Nara Lokesh has postponed his Yuva Galam Padayatra. It was planned to resume on September 29th. It was halted suddenly after Nara Chandrababu Naidu was arrested by the CID in a case linked to a Skill Development Scam.

Lokesh has planned to resume the Padayatra today but the party senior leaders have advised Lokesh to postpone it as cases are still pending in the Supreme Court. They have advised him to hold consultations with the advocates in New Delhi regarding the remand orders.

Lokesh is now in New Delhi and is discussing the upcoming political agenda about the state in the nation’s capital. The party’s senior leader K Atchennaidu wrote a letter to Lokesh on Thursday requesting him to postpone the padayatra.

The senior leaders believe that it will be essential for Lokesh to be available to the advocates rather than being in the people now. The next coming days will be extremely crucial for the party, they believe hence the postponement.
