A passenger train and goods train collided in Maharashtra‘s Gondia which left almost 50 persons injured. The accident took place in the wee hours of Wednesday between Gudhma and Gondia railway stations which also results in the derailment of three bogies being derailed.

Going into the details, Bhagat ki Kothi Superfast Express hit the goods train from behind. Four wheels of the express train reportedly came off the tracks after the collision. It is said that the non-receipt of the signal is the reason behind this. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported. The Bhagat ki Kothi Superfast Express is going from Rajasthan’s Jodhpur to Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh.

The officials declared that no passenger received severe injuries. Only one passenger was rushed to the hospital due to anxiety. After immediate restoration work, the express train resumed its journey.
