KTR orders stern action against the accused in Hyderabad minor girl rape case

A 17-year-old Hyderabadi was brutally raped by allegedly 5 ‘influential’ people in Hyderabad. Though the incident happened on 28th May, it came to the limelight a few days later. Going into the details, 5 influential people befriended a girl in a pub in Hyderabad on May 28th. They made her believe that they will drop her at home. They took her to the city outskirts and took turns raping her.

According to the Police, the 5th one ran away from the car before the incident. The father of the victim approached the cops on 31st May. Initially, Police lodged the case under Section 354 (Outraging her modesty) and after investigation, they put the rape case as well.

There were reports that a waqf board chairman, Bahadurpura MLA’s son was also involved in the crime. Telangana Home Minister’s grandson was alleged too but he denied involving in the incident.

Telangana IT Minister, TRS working president KTR ordered Home Minister to take stern action against the accused.
