The Supreme Court of India has ordered the family of famous industrialist Mukesh Ambani to be given Z+ category security in India and abroad. The Ambani family itself will bear the cost of security.

The Apex Court has pronounced this eight-page order regarding the security of the Ambani family.

The Supreme Court has ordered Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his entire family to be given Z+ category security in India and outside India. Z+ category means this is the highest level of security in India.

A two-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Krishna Murari has given this order on Tuesday.

The Supreme Court said, “When Mukesh Ambani and his family members are inside India, the State of Maharashtra and the Ministry of Home Affairs will arrange for this security and when they are outside the country, the Ministry of Home Affairs will ensure the security arrangements made for their family.”

The Supreme Court has given this order while hearing the appeal of the Central Government against the petition of Vikas Saha.

While hearing Saha’s Public Interest Litigation, the Tripura High Court had asked the Ministry of Home Affairs for the original file related to the threat to the security of the Ambani family.

Later, the Central Government filed an appeal in the Supreme Court against this decision of the High Court.

The Supreme Court had also stayed the order of the Tripura High Court last year
