Indian National Democratic Inclusive Alliance – INDIA is the new alliance formed under the leadership of Congress to counter the NDA-led government. As many as 30 opposition parties met in Bengaluru and discussed strategies to counter the NDA government which will complete 10 years in power by next year.
Congress which is adamant to not split the votes has decided to field only one candidate against the NDA candidate in the Lok Sabha elections. The alliance will only announce one contestant from INDIA. In the meeting, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge announced that Congress is not interested in the Prime Minister chair but its only motive is to bring down the NDA government from power.
There is no representation from the Telugu States in India as BRS, Jana Sena, YSRCP, and TDP haven’t joined the meeting. While BRS is completely against either Congress or BJP. Jana Sena is in alliance with BJP. Telugu Desam Party is maintaining strategic silence in this regard.
