Daggubati Purandeswari after being appointed State President of BJP Party in Andhra Pradesh has turned quite active. She has been participating in various political programs and addressing people. She alleged that the State government is not cooperating with development while BJP is looking to give importance to the state. Speaking to the media Purandeswari said that her aim is to make the people’s voice heard in the state.

“As the leadership of BJP suggested I will continue to fight on behalf of the people,” she said. About alliances for the upcoming elections, Purandeswari stated that the decision will be left to the high command. She reconfirmed that BJP is keen to develop Amaravati as the Andhra Pradesh’s capital.

Purandeswari criticized that YS Jagan hasn’t done anything for SCs and STs in the state. She said that Andhra Pradesh has a long coastal line and this government hasn’t done anything to develop it. She also criticized the State government for diverting the funds that have been allocated to Sarpanchs.
