Home prices in the USA have gone really high over the last few months and have remained on a high note in June. With the rates soaring at a higher point, sales have come down considerably.
Last month’s statistics say that the median sale price of new homes in the U.S. was $402,400, while the average sales price was $456,800. These figures are slightly lower when compared to May while the median sales price of new houses was $449,000, and the average sales price was $511,400.
On the other hand, the median sales of the existing homes in June 2022 were 13.4 percent higher than in June 2021. Trade experts, however, believe that these prices will come down sooner or later. Dennis McGill, the Director of Research at Zelman & Associates said that there are going to be home price declines, and home price deflation on a national basis.
