Adi Purush in the US : It’s been one of the first challenges for Prabhas’s upcoming film Adi Purush. It is the first direct Bollywood film from Prabhas. Om Raut has directed this movie which is based on the legend Ramayana. While Prabhas will be seen as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon plays the role of Janaki. Sunny Singh portrays Lakshmana. The teaser of the film garnered a negative response but the recently released trailer did some damage control.
Jai Shriram song has brought some positive feel as well. According to the latest update, the pre-sales of Adi Purush have started in major multiplex chains in the US such as Cinemark. The US Premiers are scheduled for June 15th. Premiere shows will start at 3:30 AM IST. The pricing for Cinemark was set at $23 for the 3D version and $20 for regular standard screens.
We have to wait and see how the audiences receive this heavy VFX-based film. Adi Purush is one of the heavy-budget flicks made in the Indian Cinema.
