A day after the marriage, Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara visited Tirupathi. They are huge devotees of Lord Venkateswara Swamy and they had a good darshan. Even they clicked pictures after the darshan. A controversy was raised when people saw Nayanthara walking with slippers around the temple. Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam issued notices regarding the same.
Vignesh Shivan has now responded to the controversy. He agreed that they wore the slippers and said that they were in a rush, so forgot to remove the slippers. “We initially decided to get married in Tirumala. But later opted out due to logistic issues. We are huge devotees of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. In the last month, we visited Tirupathi around 5 times. We are in a rush so forgot about leaving our sandals. We sincerely apologize for the mistake,” his statement reads.
After being in a relationship for over 7 years, Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara finally got married.
