YS Sharmila’s response to YS Jagan’s claims of Vizag development

Ever since YS Sharmila took charge of the AP Congress she has been quite critical about the ruling party YSR Congress. She has no inhibitions to criticize her brother, YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

YS Jagan, the other day revealed his plans for Vision Visakha. He said that his government would invest Rs. 1.05 lakh crores in the next 10 years to transform Vizag into a global city. YS Jagan has also said that he will be moving to Vizag after the elections and his swearing-in ceremony would be in this city as well.

YS Sharmila responded to YS Jagan’s claims. She tweeted, “What prevented the government from starting to rule in the capital? Deceiving the people of Visakhapatnam for three years by claiming that it is the administrative capital is a commitment you can’t do. Watching giant companies leave the IT hills is your road map. Your vision is to play the role of a spectator if the center is selling Vizag steel, the crown jewel of Andhra. It is practical for you to remain silent even if the railway zone is not derailed. This is YCP’s vision of Visakhapatnam to knock down the hills, sell the ports, and swallow the lands. Now before the elections, a new one called the 10-year strategy. Not dramas?”
