India’s captain Rohit Sharma has backed the former captain Virat Kohli yet again. It is not the first time that Rohit has backed Virat Kohli. Recently before the start of the ODI series, Rohit Sharma responded to the outside talks of dropping Virat Kohli. He said that is not going to happen as the people from inside only know what is happening inside.
Yesterday after the second ODI, Rohit Sharma faced the question of Virat Kohli again. He said, “I think in my last press conference I talked about a player’s form. It keeps going up and down. Every player faces the phase. He is the one who played so long for the country, who has done so much, played so many matches, and scored so many runs. He needs just one or two innings. That’s what I think. He is such a great batsman and he doesn’t need reassurance,” Rohit Sharma said.
Virat Kohli has been facing the problem of poking the balls going outside off,j especially the fifth, and sixth stump line.
