It is well known that Ex-Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been sent to judicial remand for allegedly involving in the Skill Development Scam. It is alleged that he was involved in the Rs. 371 Crore scam by the AP CID and he was sent to Rajahmundry Central Jail. The remand was extended till October 5th. AP CID has questioned Chandrababu for two days recently and has asked for another five days. The Supreme Court is going to give its verdict regarding this case today.
While this is happening, the supporters of Chandrababu are protesting at various iconic places opposing the arrests. They say that the arrest is nothing but a political vendetta. There is no concrete proof that Chandrababu was involved in the scam, they say.
To protest against the arrests, a huge rally was conducted at the heart of New York, USA. The rally happened in Manhattan, in front of the United Nations building at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza. UBlood app founder Dr. Jai Yalamanchili, Dr. Shiva Kumar Anand, Sekhar, Kantha, Ramesh, Pavan, Vamsi, and other TDP supporters participated in this rally and raised slogans against the illegal arrest of Mr. Naidu.
Dr. Jai Yalamanchili and Dr. Shiva Kumar Anand thanked the Sikh Police Officer who has Indian roots for giving the required permissions for this rally.
