Netflix India has turned aggressive in acquiring content of digital rights. In the recent past, Netflix India has bagged the digital rights of many Pan-Indian biggies like RRR, Salaar, Animal, and also Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram. All these films have gained huge audiences’ attention and trended big time on the OTT platforms.

According to the latest update, the OTT giant is coming up with a huge procurement of the Pan-Indian flicks. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa The Rule digital rights were bagged by Netflix. Though Pushpa 1 was acquired by Amazon Prime Video, the second installment was bagged by Netflix.

Netflix also bagged the digital rights of NTR’s upcoming film Devara Part 1 which is slated for October 10th release. Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s Indian 2 digital rights were bought by Netflix too. The OTT giant also acquired the post-theatrical digital rights of Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film GOAT. Ajith Kumar’s Vidaa Muyarchi and Vikram’s Thangalaan were also bought by Netflix.

With massive Pan-Indian flicks in their kitty, Netflix is going to be a game changer in the OTT market.
