It is going to be a big battle of small films at the weekend box office. As many as 10 films are getting released this weekend and sadly no film has a clear edge among these.
‘Mad,’ ‘Rules Ranjan,’ ‘Mama Maschindra,’ ‘Month of Madhu,’ ‘Endira Ee Panchayati,’ ‘Abhiramchandra,’ ‘Guns Trans Action,’ and dubbed versions of ‘800,’ ‘Chinna,’ and ‘Exorcist’ are the films that are getting released on October 6th.
Mad is backed by Sithara Entertainments and the producer promoted it to be a complete laugh riot. Kiran Abbavaram pinned high hopes on Rules Ranjan which according to him is a wholesome package of entertainment. Sudheer Babu and Harshavardhan joined hands for Mama Maschindra. Though the trailer couldn’t evoke enough interest, we can’t rule out the film completely.
Month of Madhu starring Naveen Chandra and Swathi created interest. Muttaiah Muralitharan’s biopic 800 and Siddharth’s dubbed film Chinna are in the race too. We have to wait and see whether any of these films could attract the audience’s attention on the weekend.
