Anu Emmanuel acted in 10 films in her career in Telugu but she is yet to score a hit. In Tamil, she acted in Vishal’s Thupparivaalan which did okay at the box office. Anu made her Telugu debut with the film Majnu which ended up as a below-average grosser. Despite acting beside star heroes like Pawan Kalyan and Allu Arjun, Anu Emmanuel failed to score a hit.
She acted in youthful, romantic movies like Kittu Unnadu Jagrattha, and Urvasivo Rakshasivo but her fate didn’t change. Anu recently appeared in the movie Japan has Karthi in the lead role. The film received negative responses and the collections were dull as well. Anu Emmanuel has got the weakest role in her career so far. She hardly appeared for 15 minutes in the movie.
There was a song called Touching in the movie on her but that too was trimmed. Attributing a film’s flop to a heroine who hardly appeared for 15 minutes doesn’t make sense though. Having said that, Anu Emmanuel had to score a huge success to be back in the reckoning.
