In 2023, we saw a rare phenomenon. No Star Hero movie was released that year. Except for Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna, star heroes like Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, NTR, Ram Charan, and others haven’t seen releases. Only Prabhas in the top 6 had two releases and it is a mixed bag for him. Also, Pawan Kalyan has a BRO release in which he was not the main lead.
However, things are going to change this year. Almost all the star heroes will have their releases this year. Mahesh Babu is going to start it with Guntur Kaaram. Nagarjuna and Venkatesh are coming for Sankranthi as well. Prabhas might have two releases in the form of Kalki and Maruthi’s untitled film. Ram Charan has Game Changer and NTR will be coming with Devara. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 will hit the screens this year. Pawan Kalyan might have Ustaad Bhagat Singh and OG in the pipeline.
Chiranjeevi’s Viswambhara, if planned correctly might get released in 2024. The other heroes like Nani, Adivi Sesh, Naga Chaitanya, Varun Tej, Ravi Teja, and Vishwak Sen will have their releases as well. So, it is going to be a packed year for Tollywood.
