It has already been officially announced that the first two games of Delhi Capitals will be played in Vishakapatnam. Now, the Vizag crowd might be getting more good news. It is said that some of the matches of the Bengaluru-based franchise RCB will be shifted to Vizag and the other will be played at Pune.
As Bengaluru is facing an acute water crisis, it might be a difficult task to maintain the stadium. It required 15K – 20K liters of water every day to maintain the ground and recently WPL matches were held at this ground and again organizing matches where there is a water problem might be a headache.
So, the organizers are chalking out the possibilities of conducting some of the RCB matches in Vishakapatnam. However, we have to wait and see for the official update regarding this.
