An Indian fan proposed to his girlfriend during India vs Netherlands T20 World Cup match today. The incident happened when the Netherlands was batting in the 7th over. A special proposal is what makes the partner feel special and now an Indian fan decided to propose to his girlfriend in front of thousands of people in a cricket stadium.
The video of the proposal has now gone viral. Even International Cricket Council (ICC) posted this video on its Instagram page. The man’s girlfriend said Yes and it turned into a memorable moment.
Coming to the match, India batted first and scored 179 runs in their 20 overs thanks to the half-centuries of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Suryakumar Yadav.
In reply, the Netherlands struggled to get the ante. All the Indian bowlers bowled with discipline and restricted them to 123 runs thereby winning the match by a huge margin of 56 runs.
