Noted actor and character artist Chandra Mohan is no more. Tragedy struck the Telugu Film Industry as Chandra Mohan breathed his last. Chandra Mohan passed away due to cardiac arrest at 9.45 AM on Saturday and he was immediately rushed to Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad. He is 78 years old. Chandra Mohan is survived by his wife Jalandhara and two daughters. His last rites will be held on Monday in Hyderabad.
Chandra Mohan’s original name was Mallampalli Chandrasekhara Rao. He was born in the year 1945. Chandra Mohan made his acting debut with the movie Rangula Ratnam.
In his long and illustrious career, Chandra Mohan won two Film Fare and six Nandi Awards. He even won two Film Fare awards for his performance in the movies Padaharella Vayasu and Siri Siri Muvva.
