The COVID virus is back in the game. After the two waves, everyone thought that we have crossed all the hurdles but the cases are on a rise again. Apart from the common people, celebrities are also contracting the virus. Despite following COVID protocols, the deadly virus is finding its way to infect. The latest to contract the virus is Telangana BJP MP and Union Minister Kishan Reddy. He has revealed that he was infected with the COVID virus and the symptoms are only mild.

Union minister for culture and tourism G Kishan Reddy took to Twitter and posted, “I have tested positive for COVID-19 today with mild symptoms. Following all the necessary protocols, I have isolated myself and I am under home quarantine. I request all those who have recently come in contact with me to isolate themselves and get tested.”

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda was a roaring success. However, in the production, producer Miriyala Ravinder Reddy had to face tension as the budget has crossed limits.

He has invested more than 55 Cr which is way more than the market of Balakrishna. Akhanda was a sensation after the release. Miriyala Ravinder Reddy made huge profits, thanks to its extended run.

Now, the focus shifts to Balayya’s next film in the direction of Gopichand Malineni. With the success of Krack, production house Mythri Movie Makers gave free hand to Malineni. The director is not compromising on any aspect and the budget for this project will easily touch the 60 Cr mark.

With Balakrishna back in the league, this budget might not surprise. Gopichand Malineni is repeating the cast and crew of Krack and Akhanda for this project. Speculations say that it might be titled ‘Jai Balayya’. The regular shooting will kickstart very shortly.

This week for the Telugu audiences there are going to be three releases on different OTT platforms. Shyam Singha Roy and Akhanda have been superb successes at the box office. They are coming before the audiences once again, this time on the OTT platforms.

Natural Star Nani, Sai Pallavi, Kriithi Shetty has starred in Shyam Singha Roy which is a commercial entertainer. Rahul Sankrityan has directed this movie which has the Bengali backdrop. The main story revolves around the Devadasi system. Nani and Sai Pallavi’s chemistry is the major stand out in this movie. Shyam Singha Roy has already been streaming on Netflix from midnight.

Nandamuri Balakrishna – Boyapati Srinu’s mass jaathara Akhanda has been a tremendous hit. The movie has already been Balayya’s highest grosser. It has even completed 50 days run at the box office which is a rarity these days. Akhanda will stream on Disney + Hotstar from 6 PM.

Apart from these two movies, there is a web series up for grabs as well. The loser is a successful web series starring Priyadarshi, Shashank, Annie, Kalpika, Dhanya, Sayaji Shinde, etc., It was a sports anthology flick and now the second season of this series is being streamed on Zee5.

Aha has announced that the finale episode will be streaming on February 4th. The season finale has a special guest. Super Star Mahesh Babu will be gracing the finale episode and it is going to be extra special. Actually, the episode has been shot long back but it has been holding back for some reason.

Mahesh fans are getting impatient over the delay in an announcement. Hence, the streaming date announcement came. The promo of this episode will be out very shortly. With the episode, Unstoppable will come to an end. There is no clarity whether there will be another season for this successful talk show.

Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi quit TDP but didn’t join YSRCP. YCP head YS Jagan is completely against the party defections. He is waiting for the nod of the party head. Meanwhile, he remained independent. However, as he is a long-time close friend of minister Kodali Nani, he is seen with him. Many are believing that Vamsi is an integral part of the YSRCP without being an official entrant into the ruling party.

However, there is some opposition to Vamsi as well. In the past, we have seen senior YCP leader Dutta Ramachandra Rao oppose Vallabhaneni’s entry into the party. Now, Puttaparthi MLA Sreedhar Reddy in a private event said that “Vamsi got elected on TDP’s ticket. Vallabhaneni’s controversy is TDP’s internal matter and it has nothing to do with YCP. They should sort this out.”

Sreedhar Reddy is a close aide to Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy who is the advisor to Chief Minister YS Jagan. This also indicates that YCP’s high command is not so impressed with Vamsi into YCP.

AT&T and Verizon Telecom have suspended 5G services in the vicinity of some US airports due to objections from airlines.

They have announced that the services kickstarted in the remaining areas. With the start of the 5G services, several international airlines will have rescheduled their services. Air India through Twitter has announced that they cannot operate airlines to the US. Last year, Verizon, AT&T won a multi-billion dollar contract to operate 5G services in the 3.7- 3.98 GHz band. In fact, the services were ought to start on December 5th, 2021 but it got delayed for one month.
