The stage is all set for the big release of Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy which are hitting the screens for the Sankranthi. While Veera Simha Reddy is hitting the screens on January 12th, Waltair Veerayya arrives a day later. Shloka Entertainment is distributing both movies in the USA.
Now, strange speculation started that Shloka is preferring Veera Simha Reddy over Waltair Veerayya of the caste issue. Mega fans allege that Waltair Veerayya is getting low-quality screens and the distributors are giving free hand to Veera Simha Reddy.
However, there is another version of it. Shloka has invested so much in getting the distribution rights of both these movies. So how will they burn their own money to help a particular movie? On top of that, there is only a slight difference in the pre-sale numbers. Veera Simha Reddy for $400K opening and Waltair Veerayya has $350K so far. Both these movies are poised for half-a-million premiere number.
