Getting a movie released one week after the biggie release is a suicidal move. We have seen many instances. After a week of RRR release, on April 1st, small movie Mishan Impossible was released and the film sank without any trace. On April 8th, when the audience is still in RRR mania, and the audiences are eagerly waiting for the movie KGF Chapter 2, Ghani got released and met with the same fate.
KGF Chapter 2 was released on April 14th and has received a superb response. The whole nation is struck by the mania of Rocky Bhai and definitely will be a killer blow releasing a movie a week after.
Some small movies are slated for release on April 22nd in the Telugu States. Films like Krishna Vrinda Vihari, and Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam have announced their releases for next week.
However, with the examples before them, they have not taken a risk to release their movies as audiences will not be in a mood to watch their flicks.
