Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty who worked for Allu Arjun’s Pushpa recently made ‘gay’ comments on RRR the other night. When a filmmaker named Munish Bhardwaj tweeted “Saw 30 minutes of garbage called RRR last night.”, Resul Pookutty commented on his timeline “Gay love story ….”
This obviously didn’t go well with the netizens who loved RRR to the core. They even demanded to remove Resul from Pushpa The Rule. Baahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda came down heavily on the talented sound designer. He tweeted, “I don’t think
@RRRMovie is a gay love story as you say but even if it was, is “gay love story” a bad thing? How can you justify using this ? Extremely disappointed that someone of your accomplishments can stoop so low!”
Resul Pookutty tried to explain that he didn’t call it a gay love story but mentioned what was in circulation. “Agree totally.Absolutely nothing wrong even if it was. I merely quoted2 my frnd,d banter that already exists in public domain ¬hing else.
